RankLens ("we", "us") provides a local SEO reporting platform for marketing agencies and businesses. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
When you connect Google Search Console or Google Business Profile, RankLens accesses data from those services through Google's official APIs with your explicit authorization. Specifically, we access search performance data (queries, clicks, impressions, positions), URL indexing status, site listings, and Business Profile information (locations, metrics, and reviews) for the properties you choose to connect.
RankLens's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In plain terms:
We use trusted processors to provide the service: Stripe (payments), Google APIs (Search Console, Business Profile, PageSpeed), and SEO data providers (search results and backlink data for rank tracking and competitor analysis). Each receives only the data needed for its function.
Performance history is retained while your account is active so trends remain useful. Deleting a website removes its data; closing your account removes all associated data within 30 days. Email hello@ranklens.com for deletion requests.
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and stored on access-controlled servers. Google API tokens are stored encrypted and used only server-side.
We'll post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date above.
